In 2022, May 18 marked the 60th anniversary of the establishment of a research unit – the Fire and Technical Station at the Fire Protection Department. The exhibition dedicated to this event tells about the creation of the unit, the areas of activity and, first of all, the people who made a huge contribution to the development of fire science in Latvia.
The period from 1962 to 1998, until the creation of the Scientific Research Office, is considered. The basis of the exhibition was made up of documents, photographic materials and exhibits from the museum's fund, many are published for the first time.
