The collection of the museum received new acquisition cufflinks, which belonged to D.Pļehņič's family, given by Valdis Eisāns from city of Lielvārde. The Latvian Volunteer Firefighters' Association gave such cufflinks to its members in 1980’s, as a special gift.
The museum gives thanks to Valdis for preserving history of the Latvian Fire Service.
